O vendedor de queijo - The cheese salesman

Atendo o interfone e uma voz pergunta por minha mãe . Surpreso , consigo apenas responder : - Ela não está ...  "Que horas posso encontrá-la?"   ....

I answer someone in the ring bell and a voice asks for my mother . She isn´t , that´s the only words I can say ... " What time I'll be able to talk to her ?"....
Então tive que ir falar com a pessoa ... Then I had to go out and talk to the caller ....
Era o vendedor de queijo ... It  was the cheese salesman...
Minha mãe faleceu ... My mother has passed away...
Foram as únicas palavras que disse.... They were the only words that I could say...
E agora eu penso , quantas pessoas passam por aqui ... And now I wonder about how many people cross this street ...
E não sabem que minha mãe não está mais aqui .... And they don´t know that my mother just left....
Pessoas que conheciam essa senhora há anos... People who know this lady for years...
Estranho... Strange.... Quando partimos... When we left....
